Books i'm reading

The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra. The title alone of this book attracted me so i bought it immediately. I've always been into how-to-attain-success books ever since.
This book is filled with timeless wisdom and practical steps you can apply right away to achieve that life-altering success and abundance.

According to the author, the seven laws are:

1. The Law of Pure Potentiality.
Through silence, meditation and through non-judgment, you can access this first law. You must get in touch with the innermost essence of your being.
2. The Law of Giving
In our willingness to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives. Practicing this law is very simple, according to the author: if you want joy, give joy to others; if you want love, learn to give love; if you want attention and appreciation, learn to give attention and appreciation.
3.The Law of Karma
Every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind... what we sow is what we reap.
4. The Law of Least Effort
There are three components to this law: The first is acceptance of people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur. The second is responsibility. It means not blaming anyone or anything for your situation, including yourself. The third is defenselessness, which means that your awareness is established in defenselessness.
5. The Law of Intention and Desire
You must accept the present as is. Accept the present and intend the future. The future is something you can create through detached intention, but you should never struggle against the present.
6. The Law of Detachment
It says that in order to acquire anything in the physical universe, you have to relinquish your attachment to it.
7. The Law of "Dharma" or purpose in Life
Everyone has a purpose in life, a unique gift or special talent to give to others.

What's also great about this book is the author's helpful outlined steps to practice
the seven laws. It is incorporated after every chapter.
