Scene Stealer Kate in Something Borrowed

I have always liked Kate Hudson.. She's always so charming and spontaneous in her movies, 'How to lose a guy in 10 days', 'Almost Famous', 'You,me and Dupree'.. (or is it really just the roles that she gets?)  Nevertheless, she's bringin' lots of zest in this movie as Darcy, stealing scenes from her co-stars. And she gets to show her dance prowess too!

BTW, the leading man  Colin Egglesfield looks a lot like Tom Cruise.

Ginnifer Goodwin also brought some good acting in this movie although for me Kate definitely outshone her.

It was supposed to be Fast5+Yakimix

I overheard someone saying that Yakimix Moa was better than the one in Morato..(so is it another branch thing going on?) Whenever I'm at Moa, there's always lots of peeps eating at Yakimix so I guess  what he said was true..

So I immediately persuaded Chas and Rhea to come with me and try the buffet..even though they are on a diet..:))

When Chas and I got there at Moa, we bought Fast5 tickets first for the last full show and then went around to look for a screen guard for her Blackberry..And then proceeded to Yakimix to wait for Rhea.

But alas, we did not realize that a lot of people also have the same plan of eating there on a thursday night..sigh..We should have come earlier! We got there at around 7:30 na..

As I was already super famished, we have decided to eat at Gerry's Grill instead..

Lovin' Cover Girl!

I must admit I'm more into high-end makeup brands like MAC, Shu uemura, Chanel and NARS.. But lately, I've realized that there are not-so-expensive brands that are also of good quality and can really give good results..

I've featured ELF, Nichido and Fanny Serrano before and they have not failed me. I'm still using them!

My current favorite now is the COVER GIRL brand!
Honestly, I've been snubbing it before (shame) because I thought it will not be up-to-par with my more expensive makeups :))
But boy, was I so wrong on that! Cover Girl is a great brand. For a month, I've been using it continuously and I'm so happy with the results.

 No cakey look for me!

Their LashBlast Mascara will be my next target as most reviews are great!

Manaoag Sojourn

Our Lady Of Manaoag will always have a special place in my heart. Almost all of my wishes to her were granted.. Except for one.. :)) And I know there's a reason why there are unanswered prayers..Only time will help us realize..Even the falling of a leaf has a reason as the saying goes.

Rea (my long-time friend) and Santi (Rea's friend) were with me on this trip. At 6:30 AM, we were there at Sto. Domingo Church to join the other members of the pilgrimage. 3 buses were there to accommodate all of us. We were assigned at bus #2.

At around 8:30, we stopped at Luisita Mall and then we saw this..

Donkey Calesa (Mamang Driver/ Owner told us he was interviewed by Ms. Korina Sanchez recently)

At 10 am, we arrived at Manaoag Church safely..

We were elated upon learning that Fr. Jerry Orbos would officiate the 11 am mass..The homily was super..
One thing I will never forget was what he said: "The more you worry, the more you hurry to the cemetery."
So don't ever ever worry folks! :))

I was surprised with the new developments in the area.. There was a new structure built for those who want to light candles.
